Q: What do the plant sizes mean?

A: Sizes given in inches (e.g. 6”) indicate pot size diameter, while sizes that include # indicate the number of gallons the pot holds. For example, a 6” size indicates the pot diameter is approximately 6”, whereas a plant with a size of #1 Pot indicates the pot can hold approximately one gallon. Typically, plants which are sized by the pot diameter will include bedding plants, house plants, succulents, and other smaller plants, whereas plants which are sized by volume will include shrubs, trees, vines, and other larger plants. The below conversion chart provides a rough conversion between pot diameter and pot volume:

              #1 Pot = 6”

              #2 Pot = 8”

              #3 Pot = 10”

Q: If the plant color shows “assorted”, what does this mean, and how can I indicate my preferred color?

A: Assorted indicates there are multiple colors available for the plant; however, we do not necessarily keep track of quantities by color. In such instances, we will usually have a picture of each color plant on the webshop. You can indicate your preferred color(s) in the “Special Requests” field when you add the item(s) to your shopping cart. We will contact you if your preferred color is not available to see if there is another color you would like, or if you would prefer a refund.

Q: How do I indicate my preferred date/time for delivery?

A: Once your order is placed, someone will reach out to you within 1 business day to schedule your delivery. Typically, we deliver to the Northshore on Mondays and Thursdays and Southshore on Tuesdays and Fridays; however, we may be able to accommodate other dates depending on our availability.

Q: Are delivery fees online the same as in-store?

A: Delivery fees for the southshore are the same online as they are in store; however,

delivery fees are actually lower online for northshore deliveries, as the deliveries are coming directly from our greenhouses, which are located in Covington.

Q: How does in-store pick-up work?

A: We will send you an email when your order is ready for pick-up (typically within 2 days). When you arrive at the store, show your order confirmation to someone at the outside counter and they will help load your plants.

Q: Who do I contact if I have questions or need to make changes to my order?

A: You can email perinosgh@gmail.com with questions or concerns and someone will get back to you.

Q: Does the online shop include all plants available at the store?

A: No; purchases made on the online shop ship directly from our greenhouse; thus, it only includes plants we grow ourselves. Approximately 30% of our inventory is purchased from other vendors; thus, is only available at our Veterans location and can only be purchased in the store.

Q: Does the online shop run the same sales as the store?

A: Yes; all sale items at the store should also show online (with the exception of $10 Tuesday, which we only run at the store).

​

Q: Can I still earn and redeem reward points if I make purchases online?

A: You will still earn reward points for your online purchases; however, points must currently be redeemed in the store.
